Labyrinth

I just recently ordered the movie “Labyrinth”, the one with David Bowie, from Netflix because one of the after school program people recommended it. I liked it. It was made, like, a billion years ago so there aren’t really any special effects, and the few that it has weren’t really that good. It was all puppets. It was amazing! It was incredible how those people who made the movie could make all those puppets and actually get them to work. It didn’t look very real, but it was cool.

I didn’t really think the girl who played Sarah, the main character, was a very good actress. She seemed very inexperienced. But she wasn’t the worst. I kept thinking I could do better than her, but I probably couldn’t. I think my favorite character was, what’s his name? Uh…Oh right! Jereth, the Goblin King. He was the one played by David Bowie. He was so cool!! Really creepy guy, but really cool too. Gosh, David Bowie is such an awesome singer. The whole soundtrack was by him, and that’s another reason the movie was so awesome.

I’ve recently been moving away from Artemis Fowl fan fictions (I still read them a lot! I’m just reading others too) and reading other stuff as well. Like the Wizard of Oz and Runaways and Marvel and all that. So I just decided to check out some Labyrinth fan fictions. Some were pretty good.

I thought it was a pretty cool movie. I recommend it to those who like movies that make no sense whatsoever. I certainly do.
